Buoy Reservation Details:

Opening date for the buoy field is May 12th, 2024. Buoy reservations will be accepted beginning April 1st, 2024 at midnight.

RPOA buoy rental fee is $100/week.

Weekly reservations run from 12:00 p.m. Sunday through 11:00 a.m. the following Sunday.

Buoy reservations will only be accepted for those members who are current on yearly dues and are in good standing with the association.

There will be one refundable change or cancellation per season/per household. After the one gratuitous change, all changes and cancellations will be non-refundable.

Buoy reservations are for members boats only and may only be used by Members. As a non-profit entity, we risk losing our tax-exempt status if buoys are rented to non-members.

Buoy reservations are limited to one buoy per member during the first two weeks of July and August. Additional buoys may be requested for peak times but are not guaranteed until one week ahead of time.

It is the members’ responsibility to verify that your boat has been put on the proper buoy. If you have your boat delivered, please ensure that you provide specific and accurate delivery information.

If your boat is not on the proper buoy or is left on the buoy after your reservation period, it will result in a daily fee of $100 and your buoy requests for the following year will be assigned last. For any boat left on a buoy 1 week beyond the approved reservation, the RPOA reserves the right to remove your boat and will bill you for the cost.

Buoy Reservation Instructions:

Step 1 - Complete and submit the form located below. Within several days, you will receive an email message with confirmation and the rental amount due.

Step 2 - Upon receipt of the email, please pay via PayPal using the button below or postmark a full payment within 10 days to:

Step 3 - Upon receipt of payment, your reservation will be confirmed and buoy number provided. Your buoy reservations will appear on the event calendar.

By submitting this request, I accept and acknowledge that the pier and dinghies are shared resources used by other members of RPOA and that my buoy reservation carries with it certain responsibilities. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in revocation of my reservation and forfeiture of my buoy reservation fee.

My buoy reservation fee will be paid within ten days of buoy assignment.
I will return RPOA dinghies to the pier after getting my boat from the buoy.
I will supply my own buoy line that is no more than 15 feet long & at least 3/4" thick with steel shackles on each end.
Boats are limited to 25' in length, 8'6" in width and 7500 pounds.
There is one refundable change or cancellation allowed per season, per membership.
Only RPOA members may use the buoys for their boat and buoys are not allowed to be used by renters/guests
